On the possible verge of elimination from the MHSAA Division 4 football playoffs, the Cros-Lex Pioneers rallied Friday night to seal their post-season berth.
The 27-21 victory at home against Ovid-Elsie left the Pioneers with a 6-3 record, good enough to keep playing this Friday night. Cros-Lex will travel to Corunna (7-2) in a pre-district contest that will kick off at 7 p.m.
