Brown City Green Devils picked up a victory on Thursday, but did not play. The Green Devils, instead were rewarded a forfeit when Burton Atherton could not field enough players.
BC coach, Aren Cooper, said his team was anxious to start the season. Sitting out the opening week was a letdown.
