After a season-opening loss to Brown City in a non-league, girls basketball game earlier in the week, the Peck Pirates bounced back impressively on Friday night.
The Lady Pirates, at home, stormed past New Haven Merritt Academy, 61-20, in the non-conference contest.
Peck’s pressure defense and fast-break action led to a, 36-14, lead by halftime.
